What is Money20/20 Asia?

Money20/20 Asia is the Bangkok edition of the fintech circuit that also runs in Las Vegas, Amsterdam and Riyadh. The 2027 dates are 27 to 29 April at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. It is the smallest of the four by attendance and the most concentrated on Southeast Asian rails, regional banks and cross-border payments. Come for APAC buyers. If your market is US card networks, the October edition in Las Vegas is the one.

Who goes to Money20/20 Asia?

Payments and banking operators across Southeast Asia, plus the vendors and funds selling into them. The official site leads on 150-plus regional and global banks and one in three attendees being C-suite. It is a deal room rather than a developer conference, and the regional mix is the reason to pick it over the larger editions.

Money20/20 Asia side events

Money20/20 runs its own evening programme for registered attendees. Around it, Bangkok fills with bank receptions, vendor suites and fund dinners across Sukhumvit and Sathorn that never appear on the official schedule. Treat the organiser's networking page as the floor rather than the full list. Aspire does not run any of those nights.

The standard pass was USD 599 and a qualifying-country pass USD 299 when this page was last checked, with the organiser advertising savings of up to 75 per cent at the launch rate and describing passes as limited. No explicit deadline for the launch price was published, so treat the figure as current rather than guaranteed. April in Bangkok is the hottest month of the year, routinely above 35 degrees.

Getting to Queen Sirikit National Convention Center

The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center has its own MRT station on the Blue Line, which makes it one of the easier major venues in Asia to reach without a taxi. Suvarnabhumi airport is about 45 minutes by road outside peak, longer during it. Bangkok traffic is the reason to be on the MRT rather than in a car.

Where to stay for Money20/20 Asia

Anything on the MRT Blue Line between Sukhumvit and Lumphini puts you a short ride from the venue. Sukhumvit is the default for the evening programme. Sathorn is quieter and closer to the banking district. Staying somewhere that requires a road commute across central Bangkok at 8am is the mistake worth avoiding.

What to know before booking Money20/20 Asia

The qualifying-country pass at USD 299 is the detail most listings miss. It is a materially different price from the standard pass and turns on where you are based, so check the eligibility rules before paying full rate. Also note the year: the 2026 Asia edition has finished, and a lot of third-party listings still show its dates.
