What is Money20/20 Europe?

Money20/20 Europe is the European leg of the fintech circuit, held at the RAI in Amsterdam. The 2027 dates are 8 to 10 June. It is the edition where European payments regulation actually gets discussed by the people implementing it: PSD, SEPA instant, open banking and the card schemes that sit underneath. Smaller than the Las Vegas show, broader by country count, and the practical choice if your buyers are European banks or PSPs.

Who goes to Money20/20 Europe?

European banks, payment service providers, acquirers, fintechs and the funds behind them, plus the vendors selling fraud, KYC and banking-as-a-service into that market. The official 2026 figures put one in three attendees at C-suite across 105-plus countries. It is a commercial floor, not a technical conference.

Money20/20 Europe side events

Money20/20 runs its own evening programme for registered attendees. Amsterdam then fills with bank receptions, fund dinners and vendor suites around the RAI and along the canals, none of which appear on the official schedule. The organiser's networking page is the floor, not the list. Aspire does not run any of those nights.

Getting to RAI Amsterdam

Amsterdam RAI has its own railway station, one stop from Schiphol airport on the direct train and about 15 minutes from Amsterdam Centraal. Trams 4 and 12 also serve it. Of all the venues in this directory it is among the easiest to reach without ever booking a car.

Where to stay for Money20/20 Europe

The Zuidas business district next to the RAI is convenient and dull in the evening. The centre and the Pijp are more pleasant and still 15 minutes by tram or train. Amsterdam hotel supply is genuinely tight in June, so the practical advice is to book before the pass rather than after.

What to know before booking Money20/20 Europe

The 2026 edition has finished and a great many listings have not caught up, so verify you are reading 2027 dates. The RAI is a large complex and the Money20/20 build uses only part of it; check which entrance your badge collection is at rather than walking the perimeter. The city's tram network is far faster than a taxi during rush hour.
