What is F1 Abu Dhabi?

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix closes the 2026 Formula 1 season at Yas Marina Circuit from 4 to 6 December, round 23 of 23. Like Las Vegas it sits in this directory as a corporate week rather than only a race: the finale draws sponsors, sovereign-linked investors and regional business in numbers, and the Gulf calendar has arranged itself around that. December is also the pleasant end of the UAE year, which is not a coincidence.

Team sponsors and their guests, regional corporate hospitality, Gulf institutional and family office figures, and the international racing audience. Because the finale falls at the end of the Gulf business season and immediately after ADIPEC and the autumn conference run, a lot of people are already in the region.

Getting to Yas Marina Circuit

Yas Marina Circuit is on Yas Island, roughly 15 minutes from Abu Dhabi's Zayed International airport and about 30 minutes from the city centre. Dubai is around 90 minutes by road, and a meaningful share of attendees travel in from there, which makes the route busy across the race weekend.

Where to stay for F1 Abu Dhabi

Yas Island hotels sit inside the circuit footprint and some have rooms overlooking the track, priced accordingly. Abu Dhabi city is 30 minutes away and considerably cheaper. Dubai is viable but the return journey after a night finale is long. Yas Island sells out early when the championship is still open.

What to know before booking F1 Abu Dhabi

Being the finale changes the economics. When the championship is still live going into the last round, demand and resale pricing move sharply in the weeks beforehand; when it is already decided, they soften. If you are buying hospitality rather than a seat, that volatility matters less, but it is the single biggest variable in what this weekend costs.
