Getting to San Mateo County Event Center

San Francisco International is about 20 minutes north and San Jose about 25 minutes south, which makes either viable. Caltrain stops at Hayward Park and Hillsdale, both close to the event center, and is far more reliable than driving the 101 at peak. Parking at the fairground exists but the approach roads congest.

Where to stay for SaaStr Annual

San Mateo, Burlingame and Redwood City all put you within a short drive or Caltrain ride and are considerably cheaper than San Francisco. Staying in the city means a 40-minute commute each way against traffic. Most attendees who are not local stay on the peninsula rather than downtown.
