What is Breakpoint?

Breakpoint is the Solana Foundation's flagship annual conference, and the 2026 edition runs 15 to 17 November at Olympia London - the first time it has been held in the United Kingdom. It is an ecosystem conference rather than a general crypto event: the programme is built around Solana protocol development, the applications on it, and the teams building them, with keynotes, lightning talks, debates and workshops.

Who goes to Breakpoint?

Solana developers and protocol teams, the applications and infrastructure built on the network, funds focused on the ecosystem, and the wider crypto industry coming to see what the network is doing. The $250 developer rate signals the priority clearly: this is aimed at builders more than at institutional allocators.

Breakpoint side events

London fills that week with ecosystem parties, hackathons and investor gatherings across Hammersmith, Shoreditch and the City, organised independently of the Solana Foundation. As with every major crypto week, the surrounding programme is substantial and largely free. Aspire does not run any of it.

Olympia is in West London, well served but not central. Mid-November in London is cold, dark by four in the afternoon and frequently wet.

Getting to Olympia London

Olympia London has its own station at Kensington (Olympia), served by the Overground and the District line, and Earl's Court and West Kensington are both a short walk. From Heathrow the Piccadilly line to Earl's Court is straightforward at around 45 minutes. Gatwick is considerably further.

Where to stay for Breakpoint

Kensington, Hammersmith and Earl's Court are all close to the venue and reasonably priced by London standards. Central London is a 20 to 30 minute Tube ride and better for the evening programme. November is off-peak for London tourism, so rates are more forgiving than in summer.

What to know before booking Breakpoint

The price you see quoted elsewhere is probably wrong. Multiple third-party listings state $450 for general admission where the Solana Foundation's own page says $550. Check the official page before budgeting. The developer and student rates are genuinely cheap for an event of this profile and are the reason to sort out your eligibility before buying a general ticket.
